Born in 1956 in Linz Studies at the University of Vienna: Violin performance with Prof. G. Pichler (Alban Berg Quartett), Music Pedagogy, Instrumental Music Pedagogy and History Musicological publications (contributions to folk music research) Teaching (violin, chamber music and orchestral conducting) at the Graz/Oberschützen Academy of Music as well as at the Niawaran Institute, Teheran Concertmaster of various orchestras, member of the Vienna Chamber Orchestra for 30 years and chamber music in various ensembles
Approx. 3000 concerts and teaching in 75 countries around the world, including numerous exotic destinations and appearances for royal families (e.g. Queen Sirikit in Bangkok, first concert of any classical string quartet in Nepal and Bhutan) Close artistic co-operation with conductors, soloists and composers like Rudolf Barschai, Rudolf Buchbinder, Ivor Bolton, Richard Danielpour, Richard Egarr, Philippe Entremont, Adam Fischer, Heinz Holliger, Sir Neville Marriner, Gianandrea Noseda, Krysztof Penderecki, Günther Pichler, Jordi Savall, Heinrich Schiff, Uto Ughi and Stefan Vladar and formerly with Sir Yehudi Menuhin, Sándor Végh und Carlo Zecchi in numerous highly-reputed concert series in Vienna (Konzerthaus and Musikverein), Salzburg (Mozarteum), Berlin (Philharmonie), Paris (Theatre des Champs-Elysees), New York (Carnegie Hall), Tokio (Suntory Hall), Osaka (Symphonie Hall).

Planning and implementation of adventure tourism projects in cooperation with the government of Lower Austria (natur&sport Waidhofen an der Ybbs, climbing garden Falkenmauer, Lower Austria) Interdisciplinary tourism project in central Iran (Anarak Transdisciplinary Center ATC) Low budget production of documentary films (Austria, Canada, India, Iran, Mexico), production of almost all components through a wide variety of skills and training (performance of the film music, filming under extreme conditions…) Film subsidies through the government of Lower Austria and the Austrian ministry of education, science and culture First climbing and establishing of numerous alpine climbing routes and the setting up of new climbing gardens in the Alps, in the Balkans and in Iran Extreme ski tours, white water canoeing, paragliding In the summer of 2002, a production by the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation of their first climbing and subsequent securing of a route in the 1400 meter high north face of the Schermberg in the Totes Gebirge Range, Upper Austria; with 42 pitches, it still stands as the longest climbing route secured to a modern standard in the Alps Diverse publications in alpine magazines
